    Althilia Moore, LPC, MS is a Doctoral student, Clinical Supervisor & Licensed Psychotherapist, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and the Founder of Morea Psychological Services locations. She holds a master’s degree in Mental Health and Substance Abuse Disorders from Springfield College-Boston, MA. She received a bachelor’s degree in Human Services for Humanity from Springfield College-Springfield, MA.

    She has extensive training in Trauma and is Certification in EMDR Therapy, working towards EMDRIA Certification. She’s trained in Grief therapy and facilitates a Grief Support Group. She’s Certified in Gottman’s level one Couple’s Therapy.

    Ms. Moore provides Individual, Couples and Family therapy sessions. Her passion working with clients is to help promote a inner freedom, multicultural sensitivity, and a healthy mindset. She specializes in the treatment of trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, grief and bereavement, family counseling, and providing couples / relationship therapy.

    She is the author of “Why Therapy. Why Not?” a book seeking support whether for those seeking support whether for emotions, grief, or loneliness. Using a multicultural perspective, this book helps understand how stigma prevents individuals from seeking help and challenges these misperceptions to demonstrate how therapy can be life-changing a gainful tool.

    Her passion and purpose an individual with a healthy mind, inner freedom, multicultural sensitivity, and individual perception. This is the replicate to her life’s experience and getting to the other side. Her work continues with writing self-help books, Individual to family to community work.

    Her personal time is shared with family, friends, writing books, music, shopping, kayaking, water therapy and networking with community. Her mission statement: “Meeting You Where You Are”
